One of my favorite times of the year is the month of April. The wildflowers like Texas Bluebonnets, Indian Paintbrush and bright yellow flowers (not sure what they are called), line every stretch of highway. Driving out into the country is like driving through a painting. Today, my Mom and I took a little trip to the edge of where they live in College Station to enjoy the beautiful weather and take a few shots amongst some of nature's beauty. Don't you love how bright the Indian Paintbrush is behind me in these photos? I usually just choose a select few images when creating a post, but today - I just couldn't help it! And to think this was the edited version.

Onto another note, my sister gave me a pair of classic canvas laceups this year and I have to tell you... I am reunited with a classic love. Being someone who hates socks and blisters equally, these are a happy medium. I wore them all day walking and couldn't be more comfortable. I am going to be going on a camping trip soon where I'll definitely be taking these babies. Stay tuned for a few casual posts in a few weeks.
