What a dress! This was a dear gift from my little sister. She didn't like the way the color looked on her...so it was so sweet she thought of me. Today I headed to the historic part of Downtown Bryan, Texas. My daughter and I ate ice cream and I had espresso after wandering in and out of little shops. Sometimes, it's just fun to look around over purchasing. I'll tell you... this area is growing rapidly. I sported a floppy striped hat since the heat wave is keeping temperatures in the hundreds. And of course, my favorite mint Ted Baker shopper. PS - Don't you love these pink chairs!?
Although I can't give you guys the exact link of the dress I'm wearing... here are a few other maxi's I'm in love with right now - see here, here and here. As far as the floppy hat, I bought this at a boutique in Kansas City last summer. But here s another striped one I'm envying. I love to shop boutiques and soon I'll be sharing a post about how to sift through the clutter in a boutique. I know it's very overwhelming for some people.
If you ever visit the Bryan/College Station area, I highly recommend the restaurant Madden's. They have such an amazing menu and sit in the middle of a market. I used to visit the marketplace often to find candles and other goodies for my home. I love their corn soup and they have some of the best desserts! Hope you enjoy today's post. I'll be doing an upcoming series around this area - stay tuned for some new content!
